Geography
Iberia is placed at 40°67'034" North, 82°84'357" West (Xl.67034, -82.84357), at a junction of Ohio State Route 309 & Morrow County Road 30.

History
Iberia was founded inside 1827 and plated in 1832 by Frederick Meyers and Samuel Foster. Iberia was it used to be that a personal of Ohio Central College, a Presbyterian Church affiliated academy. Ensuing a surcease of classes, a records & alumni of Ohio Central College were assumed into Muskingum College of New Concord, Ohio.

Iberia’s greatest period of incubation occurred at turn of a 20th Century whilst the community served as a domestic civic center. For the short time period in the 1920s, a town was placed along the “Marion� spur of the Lincoln Highway.
